چکیده
This study compared different methods of determining starch digestibility (in vivo vs in vitro) wheat grains and evaluated the influence extrusion on digestibility. In was determined broiler chickens by calculating residual content their ilea using a chromium oxide indicator. vitro examined pepsin pancreatin. During testing, highest coefficient (DC) achieved Bonanza variety its extruded form (91.19 ± 0.40%). contrast, lowest DC Tobak non-extruded (81.45 1.92%). Generally, higher observed for forms wheat. Stefii (96.10 0.55%), whereas Yetti (49.72 0.41%). Overall, experiments did not exhibit significant differences between Linear regression analysis showed strong relationship (r2 = 0.860; 85.98%) vivo- vitro-derived values all varieties, both forms. The that testing is suitable method determination control levels materials. However, despite accuracy this technique, it also very demanding terms time, space, equipment, methodological knowledge. Therefore, based correlation assays, we recommend as preferable alternative.

Effects of high temperature after anthesis on starch granules in grains of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)
The effect of high temperatures (above 25°C) on starch concentration and the morphology of starch granules in the grains of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) were studied. Wheat plants of cultivars Yangmai 9 (weak-gluten) and Yangmai 12 (medium-gluten) were treated with high temperatures for 3 days at different times after anthesis. The results showed that the starch concentration of grains given a ...
متن کاملThe wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) leaf proteome.
The wheat leaf proteome was mapped and partially characterized to function as a comparative template for future wheat research. In total, 404 proteins were visualized, and 277 of these were selected for analysis based on reproducibility and relative quantity. Using a combination of protein and expressed sequence tag database searching, 142 proteins were putatively identified with an identificat...
متن کاملAcid Carboxypeptidases in Grains and Leaves of Wheat, Triticum aestivum L.
Extracts of resting and germinating (3 days at 20 degrees C) wheat (Triticum aestivum L. cv Ruso) grains rapidly hydrolyzed various benzyloxycarbonyldipeptides (Z-dipeptides) at pH 4 to 6. Similar activities were present in extracts of mature flag leaves. Fractionation by chromatography on CM-cellulose and on Sephadex G-200 showed that the activities in germinating grains were due to five acid ...

Pyrophosphate:fructose-6-phosphate phosphotransferase (PFP, EC 2.7.1.90) from endosperm of developing wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) grains was purified to apparent homogeneity with about 52% recovery using ammonium sulfate fractionation, ion exchange chromatography on DEAE-cellulose and gel filtration through Sepharose-CL-6B. The purified enzyme, having a molecular weight of about 170,000, was a...
متن کاملIncreased puroindoline levels slow ruminal digestion of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) starch by cattle.
Starch is the primary nutrient in ruminant diets used to promote high levels of performance. The site of starch digestion alters the nature of digestive end products (VFA in the rumen vs. glucose in the small intestine) and the efficiency of use. Cereal grain endosperm texture plays a major role in the rate and extent of starch degradation in ruminants. Wheat grain texture is regulated by the s...
